Green Chemistry & Consumer Choices - The Future of Our Supply Chains

Kathleen Schuler of the IATP and Tim Kapsner of the Aveda Corporation will join the local Net Impact chapter, and you, for dinner – along with a presentation and informal discussion about chemistry in the consumer goods supply chain.

Kathleen, also with the Minnesota Green Chemistry Forum, will give an overview of the regulatory environment and point out possibilities to replace toxic chemicals with sustainable alternatives. Tim will give an overview of the Aveda Corporation's groundbreaking green chemistry initiatives, and both panelists will discuss examples from other industries. This is a conversation, not a lecture - over a three-course meal.
